With the wait finally over, The Coral's 8th studio album 'Distance Inbetween' rewards us with a surprisingly dark, visceral and at times hypnotic album that, blending elements of krautrock and psychedelic-pop influences, is evocative and thoroughly appealing.
Holy Esque's album, produced by Swedish and Danish Grammy award winner John Schumman (Kashmir/Mew) in Copenhagen, speaks of diverse themes of belonging, religion, grief and escapism, alongside nods to such acts as Echo and The Bunnymen, Interpol and The Walkmen.
