GLASGOW’S Jazz Festival have revealed a programme of free events set to take place over 22nd June – 3rd July 2016.

The festival, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2016, has revealed that events including the Late Night Jam Sessions, Scottish German Jazz Collective, Jazzy Wednesdays at the Rio Cafe as well as nightly events at Dukes Bar.

The Late Night Jam Sessions will take place at the Brunswick Hotel between 10.30pm – 2am each night. Whilst events such as the Scottish German Jazz Collective will take place on the second day of the festival, Thursday 233rd June from 6pm at the City of Music Studio, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (free but ticketed). The Jazzy Wednesday at the Rio Cafe on the opening night of the festival, Wednesday 22nd June will feature Lorne Cowieson and takes place between 8-10pm. The festival will also feature the free event Byres Road Big Band taking place in the Bazaar Bar at City Halls on Friday 24th June from 6.30pm with more events to be announced.
