THE longstanding musician institution with influence far outreaching it’s humble premises, King Tut’s is revered by the industry as an epicentre for new talent and has been instrumental in the career’s of many great bands. A good performance at King Tuts with the right people in the audience can propel an act to heights that wouldn’t have been possible before they graced its stage. Celebrating the landmark of 25 years as a live music venue this month , we have been on hand to document the intangible magic of King Tuts in all its glory; including intimate sets from a number of established artists. With the festivities still in full swing for the remainder of the month, King Tut’s have shared TTV’s series of commemorative videos; we were there for the bouncing LaFontaines gig – watch it below, check out the tremendous gig with Glasgow’s The Twilight Sad and also a rousing performance from Edinburgh’s We Were Promised Jetpacks.
