KING Tut’s have kicked off 2019 in typically loud fashion with the 2019 edition of their ‘New Year’s Revolution’ which has already treated fans to some of the country’s finest emerging acts, with plenty more still to come.

With six shows already under their belt this year, King Tut’s 2019 has got off to a blinding start and shows no signs of slowing down. Luna the Professor kicked off the 2019 New Year’s Revolution in impeccable fashion, treating a packed venue to their usual serving of indie-fuelled rock n roll. Since then, some of Scotland’s finest emerging acts have also taken to the stage including The Fences, Luke la Volpe, Paris Street Rebels, Kate Kross & The Amberjaxx, Faithful Stranger and many more.

Next up is rock n roll powerhouse Bad Hombres. A band that are no strangers to shows that edge towards the wilder side, their performance is bound to not be one to miss. The second weekend is kicked off by ST.MARTiiNS, who enjoyed an incredible 2018 and show no signs of slowing down as we edge into the new year, with support coming from one of Glasgow’s fast-rising bands, Fauves, alongside Russell Stewart and Drift, this is not a show to be missed.

As for the the final week of KTNYR19, there is many many more bands all looking to stake their claim on one of the most iconic venues in the world, rounded off by the ever-impressive Walt Disco. If you want to keep the party going after the guitars go down, King Tut’s are also laying on some incredible aftershow DJ sets, including Tenement TV bringing the whole thing to a close on Saturday 19th.
