AS another year of King Tut’s Summer Nights starts to wind down, Tenement TV have got you covered with our picks for the last few days.

After releasing their debut single earlier this year, Alloway will play their first headline show at KTSN on Wednesday 25th July. This huge-sounding five-piece rock band boast some hugely anthemic choruses, reminiscent of the striking alternative-rock sound that has defined the Scottish sound for years. Their debut single ‘East Wind’ cemented their position as one of the most promising bands to emerge in 2018. Definitely a live band not to be missed.

The Little Kicks will be providing King Tut’s with indie disco at its absolute finest. With a string of acclaimed albums, notably 2017’s ‘Shake Off Your Troubles’ setting the Scottish scene alight. With a sound that encompasses all that defines the classic sound of indie music, peppered with some infectious dance and disco sounds and some truly unique instrumentation, their sound is diverse, interesting and very easy to get hooked on. The Little Kicks are truly set to provide the ideal party to get gig-goers geared-up for the closing weekend of the festival.

The closing weekend kicks off with LUCIA, a centrepiece of Glasgow’s DIY indie scene. LUCIA are well on their way to taking over 2018, in part due to the strength of their live shows. ‘Melted Ice Cream’, released in January this year, shows how LUCIA is able to pluck influences and sounds from across the spectrum of music, from huge guitars and punk sounds, to soft vocals, the sound is unlike a lot of music coming out just now. An undeniable highlight of any festival they have played, and King Tut’s Summer Nights will no doubt be another for that list.

Gearing up to play their first Glasgow headline show and close off the KTSN 2018 party, Edinburgh’s Vistas bring their impeccable indie sound and enthralling live show. Upbeat indie-rock and singles already becoming anthems, Vistas are the ideal way to close off a run of shows that highlights the strength of emerging music right now. Hotly tipped to be one of the most prominent bands in the country by the end of this year, you cannot afford to miss out on your chance to see one of the fastest growing indie bands about today.

With strong lineups of bands every night for the rest of the festival, you cannot afford to miss some of the best emerging acts in the country perform in one of the world’s most legendary venues, and of course, see Tenement TV DJ the night away on Saturday.
