Scottish favourites Belle & Sebastian are to release a new album titled Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance. The album is due out on the 20th January on Matador Records.
The Glasgow band have had a prolific career since starting out in 1996, and this latest album will be the group’s 9th. Earlier this year Belle & Sebastian played the opening concert for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games at the Kelvingrove Bandstand, and they will return to Glasgow next May when they play the Hydro with the Scottish Festival Orchestra.
The group are yet to announce a track-listing for the new album, but they have released a preview video (see below) which contains an undisclosed new track.
