UNEXPECTED meetings of the minds between prominent artists has often yielded surprising results and that is most certainly the case when it comes to the unlikely pairing of Blossoms and Chase & Status on ‘This Moment’
Announced from out of the blue on Sunday, this collaboration between Stockport’s indie rock revivalists and Drum & Bass stalwarts turned dance megastars has arrived and likely to attract adulation from both sets of fans.
Filled with the atmospheric synths that were peppered throughout Bllossoms’ massive debut but taken into a new and more propulsive realm, the track is led by riveting percussion and a rousing vocal performance from frontman Tom Odgen.
‘This Moment’ is out now and is expected to be among the singles from Chase & Status’ upcoming new album.
