THE CHARLATANS have announced plans to release a brand new album titled Different Days.

Slated for release on 26th May, the band’s thirteenth studio album was self-produced in their own studio in Crewe and features a plethora of guest vocalists and instrumentalists.

Choosing to go down a more collaborative route, the legendary Manchester outfit have recruited big names such as Anton Newcombe and Johnny Marr to play on the record alongside crime writer Ian Rankin, Kurt Wagner and writer/actress Sharon Horgan who each offer spoken word parts or backing vocals. Meanwhile, the album will also feature a long-promised collaboration with Paul Weller who plays on the album’s closing track ‘Spinning Out’.

The band have enjoyed an unprecedented renaissance in recent years thanks to the release of their acclaimed twelfth studio album Modern Nature.
