Deathcats 1

GLASGOW band Deathcats have announced the release of a split EP with Canadian band New Swears, to be made available just one month before their hiatus begins.

Deathcats released their debut album All Hail Deathcats back in June this year. Fans can expect the upcoming release to follow suit with four brand new lo-fi tracks, which will be available on 5th December in digital and on cassette via Fuzzkill Records.

New Swears, from Ottawa, Canada, have recently completed a European tour in support of their sophomore album Junkfood Forever. The upcoming EP is the second time the two bands have met in a release, having been paired in the Cassette Store Day compilation Now That’s What I call music 666.

Deathcats will launch the EP with shows at Stereo Cafe Bar (Glasgow) and Dukes Corner (Dundee). Tickets and pre-orders are available here.
