OFF THE RECORD makes its return to Edinburgh next month for a day of presentations, seminars and panel discussions for young people interested in pursuing a career in music.

Aimed at 14-25 year olds, the popular event series has teamed up with Edinburgh youth music project Total Sound and digital media project Reel Youth Media for the day which will take place at Edinburgh’s South Bridge Resource Centre on Saturday 9th December.

Following the success of previous events around the country, the next Off the Record will see another array of high profile speakers and industry figureheads from Scotland’s thriving music scene lend their expertise to those aspiring musicians and industry enthusiasts at the very early stages of their career.

Covering a whole range of disciplines, confirmed speakers include songwriter Ross Leighton (Fatherson),  Nicky Carder(promoter/artist manager), Amy Ferguson (producer, BBC Radio Scotland) Chris Beltran (DF Concerts/Atlantic Records) and photographer Jannica Honey. They will be joined by Ally Gray and Toni Malyn from leading digital music distribution company, EmuBands and representatives from Totally Sound and Reel Youth Media.
