THE Electric Frog & Pressure Riverside Festival have revealed a host of on-site extras ahead of this weekend’s event including a Heverlee Beer Garden and live street art.

The festival, which sees two of Glasgow’s biggest party organisers The Electric Frog and Pressure collaborate for the forth consecutive year, will take place on Riverside Museum’s outdoor space as well as opening up the iconic Museum for VIP guests over Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May.

The festival will see the likes of Sven Väth, Ben Klock, Rødhåd, SLAM, Gary Beck and Ilario Alicante play on the opening day followed by the closing edition featuring headliner Fatboy Slim, Dimitri From Paris, Jackmaster, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Kerri Chandler and Harri & Domenic.

A new site layout, multiple bars, an earlier start time of 14:30, a unique hospitality area and world class production are all set to give the 2016 Electric Frog & Pressure Riverside Festival the edge, delighting over 12,000 fans on the banks of the Riverside Museum once again.

For the first time ever, The Electric Frog & Pressure Riverside Festival will have a Belgian Beer Garden from headline sponsor Heverlee. The beer garden, inspired by Heverlee’s Belgian hometown of Leuven, will serve up authentic Heverlee lager alongside gourmet fries with traditional Belgian toppings. This special addition to the festival will help create a party atmosphere in the Heverlee Beer Garden which will also feature live street art from Antwerp based street artist DZIA and Glasgow’s Rogue One, who will be creating murals which nod to Belgian and Scottish culture.

There’s a whole other host of amazing local eateries and street food vendors on site this year including Glasgow’s Laneways Collective who will bring together the best street food Glasgow has to offer. The famous The Fish Plaice Pop Up Seafood Kitchen & Bar will be onsite for the first ever time as well as vendors On Rotation Rotisserie, Julie’s Malaysian Street Food Kitchen and Glasgow coffee roasters.

All tickets already purchased can be picked up from Laneways, Gordon Street Lane (next to Republic Beir Halle), between 1pm and 7pm, Tuesday 24th – Friday 27th May. All food and drink vouchers are available from Tickets Scotland on Argyle Street in Glasgow.

Limited tickets are still available via the festival’s website. Check out Fatboy Slim’s performance from T in the Park last year to get you in the mood for his headline slot on Sunday:
