Franz Ferdinand and Sparks have revealed details of their forthcoming self-titled debut album, FFS.
Having previously released a teaser trailer for the record back in March, it is now scheduled for an 8th June release date. The album will be released on Domino Records – the label partner of Franz Ferdinand for the last 10 years. A limited edition colour vinyl and deluxe CD edition including bonus tracks will also be released. Listen to the closing track ‘Piss Off’ below.
The collaboration between the 2 acts came somewhat as a surprise with the LA synth duo having strayed mainly away from the mainstream since their pop heyday in the 80’s. Franz Ferdinand’s last release was 2013’s Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action. FFS will also hit the road for a series of European dates throughout June and July, which includes a show at Glasgow School of Art.
