photo(1)GLASGOW’S infamous Barrowlands venue and it’s historical past has been turned into art thanks to Glasgow artist Jim Lambie.

The pathway measuring 100 metres long and three metres wide at Barrowland Park in Glasgow’s east end features 2000+ sections made to look like vinyls on a shelf by artists who have played the venue since 1983.

Lambie said: “The pathway resembles the side view of a vinyl record collection, placed on a shelf at home and is similar to the rows of vinyl records I would scour on my visits to the Barra’s market.”

The pathway is now open to the public and is opposite The Untouchables store as you walk towards the Barrowlands venue.
