glastoimageGLASTONBURY rumours continue with strong speculation that The Who will join the line-up as the final headliner.

A couple of weeks ago, festival boss Michael Eavis confirmed they would be British and potentially more than one of them fuelling speculation that an Oasis reunion could be on the cards.

These fresh rumours come as a “festival insider” is reported to have told a newspaper that: “The Who booking has been kept quiet because the band are also playing a Hyde Park gig for the British Summer Time festival so the announcement will be made in a few weeks. The band are still one of the best live groups and are currently on their 50th-anniversary tour, so it’s bound to be an amazing show.”

“There’ll also be support from an artist like Paul Weller or Noel Gallagher. It will be a dream night for rock fans.”

The final headliner will take the Sunday Main Stage spot and will join the Foo Fighters on Friday and Kanye West on Saturday. Other acts set to play include Florence and the Machine, Motorhead, The Chemical Brothers, Fat White Family and Alt-J.
