THE NINTH WAVE have been revealed as one of the first fifty acts set to grace next year’s Great Escape Festival in Brighton.  The goth-pop outfit from Glasgow are set to take part in the second instalment of FIRST FIFTY; a prestigious preview event designed to give music fans a first glimpse of the talent lined up to play the internationally renowned festival in 2018.

Taking place from November 21st-23rd, the event will stage a series of exclusive gigs over three days across five venues scattered around East London. Featuring some of the hottest artists around, The Ninth Wave are joined by fellow Tenement Trail artist Sam Fender and a wide variety of bands and solo artists such as The Orielles, Aine Cahill, Hotel Lux, Ten Tonnes and FEET.

Known to showcase over 400 new artists each year around the creative hub that is Brighton, The Great Escape is Britain’s largest music conference and is often used by bands as a springboard to bigger and better things as they look to further their careers.
