FOLLOWING tireless research into the needs of emerging musicians in this country, Help Musicians UK have developed the Do it Differently Fund to help the most creative minds the country has to offer reach their full potential.

Designed to enable independence from label interference, the fund will allow music creators to build their career by providing grants of between £500 and £3,000, to be used to develop creative projects and musicians that are a crucial stage in their career. Support is offered to cover ‘Recording & Releasing’ costs, including studio hire, access to creative spaces, merchandising and manufacturing costs and much more.

For bands wanting to hit the road and show off what they have, Help Musicians UK are also looking to fund ‘Touring and Live Development’. This is an all-encompassing approach to funding tours, covering accommodation, transport, crew hire, marketing and equipment hire, giving emerging musicians an incredible opportunity to showcase their talent on a nation-wide scale.

The Do it Differently Fund as also invested heavily in the wellbeing of musicians, giving access to a suite of personal development and health services, from hearing tests and health assessments to legal advice and business development training, to ensure the fund goes a long way to creating a sustaining a lasting career in music.
