HIDDEN DOOR FESTIVAL returns to the Leith Theatre in Edinburgh this summer for ten days and nights of live music, visual art, theatre, poetry and so much more.

The innovative event, run entirely by volunteers, specialises in discovering disused spaces in Edinburgh and transforming them into temporary but hugely creative venues. Recent years have seen the event staged in the Market Street Vaults and the Old Street lighting Depot, but the 2017 festival is set to take over the abandoned Leith Theatre from 26th May – 4th June.

Organisers have now announced a special launch party in preparation for the main event, taking place on Friday 3rd March at the Biscuit Factory in Leith. Promising full festival programme announcements and a multi-sensory night of live music, DJs, visual art, projections, poetry, burlesque and much more, the party will start at 7pm and go into the small hours. Live music will come from Bossy Love, Black Cat Bone and Amy Hawthorne alongside Confusion is Sex Artists DJs Heidi Hertz and Trendy Wendy MC.
