KASABIAN, Kings of Leon, One Direction, and Katy Perry are amongst the acts to play Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Glasgow later next month.
The three day event will take place in Glasgow’s George Square and Glasgow Green between 23rd-25th May. Fans applied for tickets earlier this month, the allocation selling out within 30 minutes.
The Friday event in George Square will see DJ’s kick-off the weekend’s events with Tiesto headlining the line-up.
Jake Bugg, Bastille and Lily Allen will play on the Saturday in Glasgow Green, with One Direction headlining.
Kings of Leon will open the Main Stage on the Sunday in Glasgow Green with Kasabian headlining the In New Music We Trust stage later on in the evening. Zane Lowe will reveal the rest of the line-up on his show tonight.
Paolo Nutini and Rita Ora have already been confirmed as acts playing over the weekend.
