MARK RONSON has delivered an outstanding cover of Queens Of The Stone Ages’ ‘I Sat By The Ocean’ whilst flanked by an all-star band.
Filmed for Australian radio station Triple J’s ‘Like A Version’, Ronson covered the Like Clockwork track alongside musicians such as Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt and Kirin J Callanin.
Having previously collaborated with Parker and Wyatt on his latest record Uptown Special, they take the Josh Homme penned composition in an interesting new direction during the live performance.
Stripping away the raucousness of the original in favour of something more lucid and psychedelic, Parker assumes the role of rhythm guitar whilst Wyatt delivers a vocal performance that displays his virtuosity.
