GLASGOW’S Mogwai have announced that they have scored an upcoming BBC documentary.
Slated to be part of the upcoming BBC Four Goes Nuclear season, the legendary noise rock pioneers will be at the helm of the music for it’s first programme entitled Storyville: Atomic- Living In Dread and Promise.
Composing an entirely original score for the documentary, a brief release for the show proclaims that: “Using only archive film and a new musical score by the band Mogwai, Atomic shows us an impressionistic kaleidoscope of our nuclear times.”
Their first outing in this line of work since they turned their hand to 2013’s The Returned, watch the dread filled trailer for the documentary below before it airs on 8th August at 9PM on BBC 2
