THE NINTH WAVE and LUCIA have announced a joint tour of the UK this spring.
A jaunt which will combine two of Scotland’s leading lights over the past few years and take them to audiences less acquainted with their sound, the newly announced venture will see both bands hitting the road from early to mid May.
Spurred on by the groups being fortuitously booked on many of the same festivals, the tour will kick off at the revered Live At Leeds on the 5th May before Liverpool Sound City, several dates in Scottish towns and a run of English shows that culminates at Brighton’s The Great Escape on the 19th May.
With both artists capitalising on critically acclaimed releases in the form of The Ninth Wave’s Reformation EP and Lucia’s infectious new single ‘Melted Ice Cream’, it’s the perfect time for both bands to head out en masse in order to bring their music to the UK as a whole.
