THE
theatrical and home release dates for the upcoming Oasis documentary ‘Supersonic’ has been announced.

A project which lead singer Liam Gallagher has previously described as ‘biblical’, the forthcoming film has been crafted by the same production team behind the Academy and Bafta Award winning documentary ‘Amy.’

Said to have been put together with ‘unprecedented access to the band, commentary from family and contributors from the time and incredible unseen archive material’, the forthcoming documentary will provide an in-depth look at the band’s meteoric rise and the historically rocky relatationship between the two brothers that formed the core of the group.

Charting the band’s career between 1991-1996, the Mat Whitecross directed work will be broadcast live via satellite in cinemas across the land on the 2nd October before a DVD and Bluray release will follow on the 31st of the month.

Whilst no information regarding participating cinemas or ticket details has emerged as of yet, we’ll be sure to keep you posted when they are made available to the general public.
