Wide Days - Be Charlotte-1PRS for Music are set to host a night of live music on September 15th at Edinburgh’s Electric Circus, designed to showcase some of Scotland’s most exciting talent.

The organisation, which undertakes collective rights management for musical works on behalf of over 100,000 members, has held similar events at its offices in London, where they have hosted intimate performances from some of their new and most established members. Now, PRS for Music Presents will be coming north of the border and will be showcasing sets from three home-grown artists currently making waves in the industry: Be Charlotte, Fatherson and Holy Esque.

From the anthemic rock of Fatherson to the post-punk atmospherics of Holy Esque to the innovative pop music of Be Charlotte, it’s a night which will highlight the huge range of talent currently emerging from Scotland’s thriving music scene.

Discussing PRS for Music Presents, Head of Marketing Paul Sims said: “These events give us the opportunity to present the fantastic work our members are producing. They allow us to invite a broad range of stakeholders to one place where they can experience our members’ music first hand and to understand how the PRS for Music licence fee contributes to the creation of great new music.”

The event will be held at the Electric Circus in Edinburgh on Thursday 15th September.
