SSE have this morning revealed that Queen + Adam Lambert are crowned winners of SSE Arena Live Awards after bagging 299,000 votes representing a huge 45% of the total vote.
The acts appeared at The SSE Arena in London during 2015. Speaking about the award Brian May commented: “WOW. Nice. Well. BIG THANKS SSE Folks … for a wonderful compliment. We’re very proud to be your favourite act of last year – by a huge majority. Humbled, grateful and definitely up for a rematch!”
The awards, which have been running since October, gave fans the chance to vote for the favourite act they’ve seen perform at The SSE Arena, Wembley during 2015.
Paolo Nutini bagged the prize for the best live act at SSE Hydro venue in Glasgow which he played on his birthday in January last year.
