IN celebration of International Women’s Day 2019, Tenement TV are proud to unveil the lineup for the first ever Queen Tut’s. We will be celebrating this year’s event by taking over King Tut’s and bringing with us three of the most talented acts in Scotland, to kick off Queen Tut’s in incredible fashion.
Following an unbelievable 2018, including a stunningly wild performance at 2018’s Tenement Trail, Glasgow’s The Van T’s will be bringing their unshakable pop-tinged indie-punk to the inaugural Queen Tut’s. Their seemingly unstoppable rise to the forefront of Scottish music shows no signs of slowing down, with a huge 2019 ahead of them, Queen Tut’s 2019 is the ideal way to set off.
They are joined by one of the country’s most colourful, genre-bending and exciting acts, The Vegan Leather. Their incredible imaginative sound has grasped the attention of an army of fans and turned many industry heads in the process, pushing audiences across the country to dance to their infectious indie-disco anthems. One of the stand-out acts at Tenement Trail 2018, Scarlett Randle is also joining the first ever Queen Tut’s. The singer-songwriter’s soulful sound has become a regular feature in the bars and clubs around Glasgow, captivating larger and larger audiences with every show.
