SET to return to the heart of the Barras next month, Resonate have revealed their workshop programme for this year’s eagerly anticipated event.

Following the announcement of panellists including Parlophone Records’ Alex Peppiatt, MXX Music’s Dr Joe Lyske, Liverpool Sound City’s Becky Ayre and keynote speaker Tim Abbott, organisers have unveiled a series of diverse and insightful workshops which will take place in the venue’s A’challtainn restaurant.

Featuring representatives from organisations such as BPI, Creative Scotland, Killing Moon, SXSW, Tileyard Education and PRS Foundation alongside local musician Emme Woods and campaign manager Luke Arthur, this year’s workshops will cover a range of important topics including BPI’s International Trade & Music Export Growth Scheme, Crowdfunding with Pledge, Surviving and Thriving in the Music Industry with relation to mental health and International Development.

Musicians will also be given the valuable opportunity to have their music heard by industry professionals who will also provide feedback.

With more announcements still to be made in the coming weeks, Resonate is shaping up to be an unmissable event for all those hoping to build a career in the music industry; whether as aspiring and established musicians, students or industry professionals.
