THE
brand new Restless Natives Festival is set to debut in Glasgow this May.

Taking place over a myriad of venues throughout the city’s East End, the festival will focus on not only independent musicians but self-sufficient individuals in areas such as film, food and drink.

Held over the course of seven days, the festival’s initial music line-up features a plethora of great artists such as The Future Of The Left, United Fruit, Happy Meals, Into It. Over It, Breakfast Muff, Blanck Mass, The Bellybuttons,Tim Hecker and more.

In addition to this, showcases from prominent institutions such as Fuzzkill Records, Nightschool Records, Bloc+, Song, By Toad and more are to be revealed soon.

Organisers for the event have stated that ““Restless Natives is looking to unite many different groups, creative industries, ethnicities, ages and socio-political perspectives under one broadly inclusive and progressive umbrella,” “Proving to everyone who thinks otherwise that independent business and art can still thrive in an increasingly globalised world economy and that Scotland, with its celebrated reputation in these fields, is the perfect place to lead the way.”

Taking place between the 9th-15th May, tickets and further details are available via their official website.
