PARTNERING with Apple Music, The Ivors Academy are taking applications for their Rising Star Award, until midnight on December 16th 2019.
Set to be presented at The Ivors on the 21st of May 2020, the Rising Star Award will honour young British and Irish songwriters and composers, who demonstrate exceptional potential and ambition. One chosen winner will receive an Ivor Novello award during the ceremony in London next May, and receive ongoing mentorship from the Apple Music team.
The award is FREE to enter, and entrants must be between 18 and 25, and a member of The Ivors Academy. All you have to do is enter three pieces of work by 11:59pm on December 16th HERE.
This new award is the first step in a three year collaboration between The Ivors Academy and Apple Music, striving to bring wider exposure and development opportunities for music creators.
