Following last year’s Blue & Lonesome LP, The Rolling Stones have wasted little time in getting back to the studio.
Revealed by none other than the band’s legendary guitarist Keith Richards, the group’s first foray into the world of original material since the ever popular ‘Doom And Gloom’ and accompanying single ‘One More Shot’ in 2012 is said to be in the process of coming together.
12 whole years since the release of their last collection of originals in A Bigger Bang, the national treasure stated that they are in the midst of planning to head to put something together.
“Yes, yes, we are — very, very shortly. Cutting some new stuff and considering where to take it next. Blue & Lonesome caught us a little bit by surprise in that we figured it was something we had to do, but we didn’t expect the response.”
