AFTER winning the prestigious Best Newcomer award at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards last week, Glasgow band Shredd have announced plans to release a new single called ‘Flight Of Stairs’ along with a launch show at Nice N Sleazy.

2017 has been a massive year for the three-piece who have made a thunderous impact on the local live circuit with appearances at Tenement Trail, BBC 6 Music Festival, Freakender and King Tuts Summer Nights along with  memorable support slots for the likes of The Black Lips, Death Valley Girls and Thee MVPs.

Now boasting an impressive catalogue of formidable garage rock hits from their debut EP as well as the popular ‘Cobra’, the band are ready to add yet another powerhouse track to their name in ‘Flight Of Stairs’. Working once again with Bruce Rintoul of Fatherson and Twin Atlantic fame, it has been tipped as their most exciting release to date and is sure to see their reputation soar even further as they head into 2017.

The single will be launched on 10th November with their biggest headline show to date at Nice N Sleazys on Sauchiehall St where they will be joined by fellow local outfits American Clay and The Kidney Flowers.

Set to be another triumphant occasion for the fast-rising outfit, early bird tickets are priced at only £3 and are available here.
