NEW ORDER have launched a brand new archival website which documents their influence on the modern music world.
Referred to as ‘Singularity: The Influence Of New Order’, the new site is set to convey the pioneering act’s enduring influence via a series of written tributes, covers of their iconic tracks, mixtapes and more.
Featuring heartfelt testimonies from Mat Osman of Suede, Ceremony, Inspiral Carpets, Nicky Wire, Tim Burgess, Irvine Welsh, Shaun Ryder and more, the site also contains a mix of The Cure figurehad Robert Smith’s favourite tracks from the innovative band.
Demonstrative of the band’s overarching effect upon not only music but culture as a whole, other confirmed content includes Cold Cave’s cover of the seminal ‘Your Silent Face’ and Chromatic’s stark rendition of ‘Ceremony’.
