SLAVES have announced an intimate show at Glasgow’s O2 ABC2 whilst ‘Green Date’ are set to play at St Luke’s tonight.

Following the unfortunate cancellation of the Green Day show at the city’s Bellahouston Park, the London-based punk duo have decided to put on a show in lieu of their scheduled support slot whilst the winners of the National Tribute Music Awards have headed up from Nottingham in order to perform for fans.

Announced via their Facebook page, the band stated that:

“TODAY’S SHOW WITH GREEN DAY HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
WE’VE DECIDED THE GOOD PEOPLE OF GLASGOW STILL NEED A GIG.
WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE WE WILL BE PLAYING OUR OWN INTIMATE SHOW AT THE O2 ABC2!! XXX”

Tickets are priced at just £10 and can be purchased now via their official website whilst Green Date’s show at Saint Luke’s is free entry with doors open from 6pm.
