SLOWDIVE are to play Glasgow next month, kicking off the UK leg of their tour at The Art School on 27th March 2017.

The famed shoegaze outfit who dissolved following the release of their third album Pygmalion in 1995, released their first new song in 22 years back in January. Proving that their inimitable musical chemistry was still intact, ‘Star Roving’ has been the first indication that their highly anticipated comeback album will be another knockout.

One of the most influential bands of the 90s, Slowdive first reunited in 2014 for a series of acclaimed hometown shows in London before embarking on a world tour. However, this new run of dates will give devoted fans the opportunity to see them in more intimate venues as they touch down in Glasgow, Liverpool, Bristol, Paris and Berlin.

The band said: “This will be a chance to see us showcase songs, both new and old, and will be our first European club shows outside of London since 2014.”

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday 17th February). For more information, check their official website.
