THE
first wave of acts for this year’s Stag and Dagger Glasgow has been revealed.

An inner city festival which makes use of the stellar selection of venues on the city’s famed Sauchiehall Street, Stag And Dagger is known for bringing not only British talent but a great deal of international acts both big and small to Scotland’s cultural hub.

The first wave of acts for this year’s bill epitomises this fact and features artists such as blues rock specialists Band Of Skulls, New York indie heroes We Are Scientists, Bristol punks Milk Teeth, the multi-faceted duo known as Slow Club and more.

Among the acts from far flung locations is a healthy contingent on homegrown acts, with bands such as The Van T’s, Stanley Odd and Emma Pollock all finding their way onto the bill.

Other artists scheduled to descend upon the city include Fews, Francis Lung, Formation, Smash Williams and Deaf Havana.

With more acts set to be announced in the near future, Stag And Dagger takes place on Sunday 1st May 2016 with early bird tickets priced at £17 50.
