David Bowiemuch-discussed lost David Bowie album entitled The Gouster has emerged online.

Sowing the seeds of what would eventually go on to become the ‘plastic’ soul sound of Young Americans, this never-before-heard but often speculated on release was helmed by frequent collaborator Tony Visconti.

Released today via the new Who Can I Be Now? 1974-1976 collection, the compilation of his work from that time alludes to an artist firing on all cylinders and continuing to explore any avenue that he thought to be creatively fulfilling.

Seemingly set for a physical release on both vinyl and CD formats, it features alternative versions of famous tracks such as ‘John I’m Only Dancing (Again), ‘Young Americans and many more.

Check out this unreleased gem from the late artist below, starting at track 50 of the entire set and concluding with a embryonic version of ‘Right’.
