TEENCANTEEN and Last Night From Glasgow have announced details of ‘The Christmas Effect’; a night of live music on Sunday 11th December at Mono, Glasgow in support of Scottish Women’s Aid and Scottish Refugee Council.

It follows the success of their ‘TeenCanteen presents The Girl Group Effect’ events last year which raised £10,000 for Scottish Women’s Aid through ticket sales and donations. And with the festive period upon us, the Christmas edition will give people the chance to raise even more money for two great causes at an important time of year.

With more acts to be announced, TeenCanteen and the Glasgow record label have teamed up to curate an already exciting lineup which will feature Unofficial BMX Bandits, Eugene Kelly, Ette, BooHooHoo and Randolph’s Leap, each covering their favourite Christmas songs across the night.

Not only that, but the night will be recorded by Stephen A Watkins, the man responsible for producing TeenCanteen’s debut album Say It All With A Kiss which came out earlier this year. Capturing what will surely be a memorable night, the record will be made available on iTunes as a lasting memento before Christmas with all proceeds split between the charities.
