tbreakfribands800k-9AN impressive bunch of bands will play the first T in the Park at Strathallan Castle in July. Tennent’s Lager have revealed the 16 acts who have beaten over a thousand bands to make this year’s T Break line-up.

Scottish bands AmatrArt, Apache Darling, Catholic Action, Be Charlotte, Crash Club, Dead Man Fall, Ded Rabbit, DIVIDES, Gerry Cinnamon, Other Humans, Our Future Glory, Schnarff Schnarff, Spring Break, The Claramassa, The Van T’s and Tijuana Bibles are set to play T in the Park’s famous T Break stage over 10th-12th July 2015.

Catholic Action have been enjoying a recent rise in attention after supporting the likes of The Growlers at CCA earlier this month and impressing critics at their Live at Glasgow gig. Bands including Crash Club and Tijuana Bibles are set to tour the festival circuit, the latter a Glasgow band who make a rousing impression on all those lucky enough to discover them live in the basement venues around Scotland.

Apache Darling have been catching the attention of those in the know for a while now, releasing cracking singles including ‘More Than Me’ last summer and playing our very own Tenement Trail festival in October last year.

The line-up is testament to the impressive work the panel of judges do, sifting through thousands of entries from unsigned bands allover Scotland. The thousands are then shortlisted by each judge and listened to one by one in a group judging session where each judge decides the fate of the bands by vote.

This year’s 2015 T Break line-up joins an impressive host of acts including The Libertines, Jamie T, The War on Drugs, Kasabian, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Noel Gallagher who will play the event’s first ever festival in the new home of Strathallan Castle.
