CAMERA Obscurer’s keyboardist and singer Carey Lander has sadly passed away, losing her fight with cancer it has been revealed.
As the sad news has travelled around the internet, various tributes from fellow Scottish musicians including Frightened Rabbit, Franz Ferdinand and Roddy Hart have flooded in.
The official statement from the band read: “It is with the greatest sadness, that we must share the news that Carey passed away peacefully this morning after her illness with cancer. We have lost our friend and band mate, and our deepest sympathy goes out to her partner Kenny, and to all her family and friends.”
