TRNSMT celebrates 2017 success by announcing 2018 dates in Facebook Live video with Kerr from the LaFontaines and Festival Director, Geoff Ellis.
Discussing the 2017 event, Ellis spoke about highlights from the weekend and revealed the event will return on 6th, 7th and 8th July 2018. Fans were asked to share their comments, read out by Kerr in the live video which included suggestions for headliners including Daft Punk, The Killers and Muse.
The live video also featured interviews from the likes of Belle & Sebastian, Catfish and the Bottlemen and
“Everything from the way the site design worked out, everyone behaved themselves. No trouble, everyone on good form. It just goes to show how amazing Glasgow can be for a large event!”
The inaugural TRNSMT event was a hugely successful festival for organisers DF Concerts, boasting incredible performances, an amazing vibe and a brilliant site. The festival’s goers all enjoyed a premiere event that Scotland can be proud of.
