FOLLOWING this morning’s TRNSMT headliner announcement of Arctic Monkeys, the festival have added even more artists to the 2018 bill including Friendly Fires, Shed Seven, Picture This, Lewis Capaldi and Hudson Taylor.
TRNSMT Festival revealed earlier today that Arctic Monkeys will make the only UK festival appearance so far and be joined by Blossoms, Interpol, Nothing But Thieves, Declan McKenna, Miles Kane and Tom Grennan on Sunday 1st July. Sign-up or pre-sale now via www.trnsmtfest.co.uk.
Lewis Capaldi said: “TRNSMT last year was the first UK festival I ever played and it exceeded all of my expectations. To get the opportunity to play a festival of that size so early on has helped me massively and I think it’s amazing that DF have been supporting so many local artists by giving them slots on the bill where that allows them to make the most impact. Playing last year was definitely one of my highlights of 2017 and I can’t wait to come back again this year on the Main Stage.”
This year’s TRNSMT is set to be one of the highlights of the summer with the likes of Liam Gallagher, CHVRCHES, Wolf Alice, The Killers all set to perform in Glasgow Green.
