THE Twilight Sad have announced that they will support cult-icons The Cure on their 25-date 2016 US tour with shows at the legendary Hollywood Bowl and Madison Square Garden already announced.

Glasgow’s favourite moody-noise rockers have already sold out their December homecoming show at Barrowlands, over two months in advance, and will shortly be embarking on a European and UK tour with Editors.

Earlier this year, Cure frontman and Twilight Sad-fan, Robert Smith covered ‘There’s a Girl in the Corner’ from Nobody Wants to Be Here and Nobody Wants to Leave for a double A-Side single alongside ‘It Never Was the Same’; listen to Smith’s cover below.

This is a very exciting step forward for The Twilight Sad whose doom-laden sounds mirror nothing of the bands flourishing success and their undoubtedly bright future.

All of The Twilight Sad’s UK tour dates are available below. Tickets are available here and from various other outlets.
