THE VAN T’S are set to support East Kilbride’s noise-pop icons The Jesus And Mary Chain at Glasgow’s O2 ABC.

On a near-constant upward trajectory in recent years, the band have previously supported the Scottish pioneers at the legendary Paradiso in Amsterdam and will now reassume the duty at a venue which is much closer to home.

In the midst of their first tour since releasing Damage And Joy; their seventh studio album and a record that arrived nineteen years after they last hit the studio, the iconic band have done a lot to support the next generation of talent by providing them with an opportunity to open for them on these dates.

Set to also head to Middlesborough’s The Empire with the band on the 24th September, The Van T’s are riding a massive wave of momentum after the release of latest single ‘Fresh Meat’ was met with a huge response from fans and critics alike.

The Jesus and Mary Chain will perform at this year’s Electric Fields Festival which is held between the 1st & 2nd September. Remaining tickets are available here.
