vukoviSCOTTISH rock outfit Vukovi have revealed details of their new record deal and their forthcoming debut album.

Announcing the news to their fanbase via social media, it appears the band’s hectic schedule of gigging and supporting bands such as Nothing But Thieves, Fearless Vampire Killers and many more has paid off in dividends.

Aligning with the Manchester/New York based label Lab Records, the band announced that they are heading into the studio next month to start work on their long-awaited debut album.

Hot on the heels of well received singles such as ‘Animal’,and ‘Boy George’, Vukovi have continued to blossom into one of Scotland’s hottest prospects for crossover success and have cemented this status with their new deal.

Speaking to TTV about their aims and what they wish to accomplish with the record, frontwoman Janine Shilstone has clarified the band’s plans to provide the richest and move diverse representation of the band’s sound:

“We’re heading into the studio to record it next month with Nick Lawrie and Bruce Rintoul. Bruce recorded and produced our first 3 eps and Nick has recorded and produced our last 4 singles. We wanted to capture old and new Vukovi and show how much we’ve evolved since the beginning through the album. I think working with our old and new producers will capture that perfectly.”
