WALT DISCO have formally announced the impending arrival of their debut EP.

Entitled No Need For A Curtain, the new release from the hotly tipped Glasgow-based outfit will emerge via the city’s own Public on the 29th March on 8″ transparent vinyl.

The first indication of what to expect from their first venture into the terrain of an extended play , the band have prefaced its release with the ebullient ‘Your Echoes Fall.’ Adopting a more fanciful, romanticised and affected sound than many of their contemporaries, their latest tracks sees the band deftly conjure up a thrilling piece of indie-pop that could seamlessly fit on a modern redux of the lauded C86 compilation that became the standard bearer for the genre. Loaded with energetic guitars and off-centre vocal declarations, the sound registers as a natural progression from the bold and schmaltzy balladry of ‘Dream Girl #2’  and stokes the intrigue around what may await on the EP.

Set to be launched with a show at the Poetry Club and with pre-orders being accepted now, check out ‘Your Echoes Fall’ below:
