Screen-Shot-2015-05-27-at-08.59.32THE final episode in the current series of Later… With Jools Holland saw a string of immensely popular acts take to the hallowed studio’s stage including Muse, Sleater Kinney and Seasick Steve.

As well as those performances, it also saw outings from legendary American folk artist Peggy Seeger, Melody Gardot and ALA.NI.

With rock titans Muse preparing to release their new album Drones in less than two weeks, they performed ‘Mercy’ and ‘Psycho’, two previously aired tracks from their forthcoming seventh record; while riot grrrl legends Sleater-Kinney provided a rousing rendition of ‘No Cities To Love.’

On similarly excellent form was Seasick Steve,  whose recent single ‘Bring It On’ garnered a rapturous response from those in attendance.
