WOLF ALICE have asked their female fans to apply to play onstage with them for one song at The Barrowlands.
Set to seize control of the hallowed east end venue on Saturday and Sunday night of this week, lead singer and frontwoman Ellie Rowsell has asked for fans to relieve her of guitar playing duties on longstanding fan favourite ‘Moaning Lisa Smile.’
Detailed in a series of tweets, Ellie enquired as to whether “Any gals wanna play my guitar part in moaning Lisa smile at the Barrowlands tomo so I can stomp around on stage? Serious question.”
As if to demonstrate her sincerity on the matter, she went on to explain how fans could apply:
“Send me a video of u playing the chords and/or the solo to wolfaliceband@gmail.com with your name and the date of the gig in the subject box.”
