The band: Following a recent departure from the band, AMWF have dropped a W and added a new member following Robbie Ward leaving in April 2014. They’ve still kept the magic though and their recent show at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival with Ward watching from the crowd was testament to that. Tom Barbour joined the band in July; spectacularly talented and multi-instrumental like the rest. The Dundee five piece have been working hard on new material and are soon to drop a new live album.
The sound: Featuring Anderson on lead vocals, this acoustic guitar-led track is rich in harmonies and soul. With a nod to The Eagles folk style, A.M.W.F have captured the soul of their band and laid it out beautifully in this heart-felt track.
The video: The band recorded this live session-style video as a treat to fans and their support and features the five members of the band performing this new track organically.
The lowdown: The band will release a double CD titled ‘Live at the Gardyne’ following the two shows at the Gardyne Theatre on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August.
