asylumsDie-hard DIYers Asylums released their debut EP back in February on their own label Cool Things Records. Sticking rigidly to the route of being self-sufficient, the band bask in their own sound, unhindered by any outside influence. The result is a fun-filled 90’s throwback, with deeper meanings hiding behind care-free riffs. New track ‘Joy In A Small Wage’ pokes fun at capitalism, with a sound reminiscent of All American Rejects.

The band will be heading to Brighton for Great Escape Festival on the 15th May, and in July they’ll play Village Green Festival in Westcliff-on-Sea.
