CRAFTING the kind of soaring anthems and emotive melodies that have taken acts like Fatherson and We Were Promised Jetpacks to massive stages all over the world, Glasgow band Atlas Run have seized our attention with the release of their latest single ‘Open Water’.

Led by a powerful and heartfelt vocal from Paul Howie, the band blend heavily layered riffs with soaring, emphatic choruses in order to create an intense climactic effect. Reinforcing the deeply moving lyricism that is delivered throughout the track, the band have unveiled a powerful new video to go alongside it. With some images that viewers may find upsetting, performance scenes are interspersed with a harrowing narrative that depicts children being lost to the water.

With more music expected to arrive in the coming months, ‘Open Water’ is featured on the band’s debut EP Depths which is currently available on the usual streaming platforms.
