MODERN psych-rock legends The Black Angels have unveiled a new video for ‘Half Believing’.
Taken from the band’s acclaimed Death Songs LP which came out last year, the track is like an eerie, murky love song; but one that feels like it has a larger meaning beyond just two people. “World, you make me nervous,” lead vocalist Alex Maas sings as he tries to grapple with the tumultuous world around him.
The slow-burning track has been been paired with a nightmarish video which features hedonistic chaos. The band’s guitarist Christian Bland explains: “The idea was to create a ‘mini Twilight Zone’ episode where a man’s life flashes before his very eyes before he enters eternity. Where he ends up, no one knows.”
